Eastview Fall Traveling Volleyball provides an opportunity for girls in 5th through 8th grades to move into more competitive volleyball or get ready for the winter JO season. This program will expand the players experience while accelerating her learning of the game. Experienced, paid coaches provide quality instruction and share their excitement for volleyball.

Teams will practice twice a week (preferably on Monday or Tuesday AND Thursday). 

Tryouts will be held for 5th/6th grade on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 and for 7th/8th graders on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024.  All tryouts will be at Apple Valley Community Center with registration/check-in from 6:15-6:30 pm, tryouts from 6:30-8:30 pm, and selection from 8:30-9:00 pm.

Be aware these are tryouts to be selected to join the team.  We have a set number of positions per team to fill and placement is determined by the coach who is evaluating the players during tryouts. Unfortunately, there will be some that will not be selected to join a team.   

The NL League Waiver form is required for all players in our Fall Traveling program. 

Please print it out, sign as needed and return it to Gerri at glaska@evaasports.org prior to tryouts.  If you don't have the ability to submit this via email, please bring your completed copy to turn in at tryouts.

For the fall of 2023 we will participate in the NL Fall league.  Cost for this program will be a $20 tryout fee and then $240 for the program.  Both payments are included with our registration - tryout fee is non-refundable. You will NOT be charged for the program ($240) if your player does not make a team.

We are looking to field 4-5 teams for the fall of 2023 with 9-10 players per team and practices will begin the week of August 28th!
 
Dates for for NL Fall league are:  Sundays in September and October at Northern Lights in Burnsville -  Sept 10th, 17th, 24th and October 1st, 8th, 15th.  These competitions will be for two hours and can start between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm.  Girls are selected for teams through a try-out process held in August.

Selection to teams will happen at tryouts.  Each player will receive a letter that will let her know if she has been selected to a team.  This letter can be read in private.  If selected each player needs to go to the designated meeting spot for her team and then ACCEPT/REJECT her selection before leaving the tryout facility.  More instructions on this process will be provided at tryouts.

Pre-registration is encouraged but walk-in registration is allowed.
