Traveling Baseball Program Information

Volunteer dates for 2012

Your opportunity to fulfill your volunteer requirement will occur during the MBT State Tournaments hosted at Eastview the weekend of July 13-15 and at the August Classic hosted at Eastview August 1st - 5th.

The full volunteer schedule for events will be posted in the weeks preceding the MBT State Tournament and the August Classic, but the dates are firm.

The volunteer requirement for each player in the program is 6 hours, with a 9 hour maximum per family. Watch this website for more details in late June and early July.

 

Tentative Team Baseball Tournament Schedule

 A tentative schedule of tournaments for 2012 EVAA Traveling Baseball teams is listed below. At each coach's discretion, additional tournaments may be added and tournaments may be dropped. See the below tentative tournament schedule for details. Note: this document was posted April 24th and is an update to the previously posted tournament listings.

Baseball bat standards

(From the MBL website): 

"For the 2012 MBL/MBT season all bats in the 11 – 14 year old age group, big barrel bats must have the NEW USSSA Approved 1.15 BPF stamp on its taper, Babe Ruth Approved 1.15 BPF stamp or BBCOR stamp. For small barrel bats (2 1/4"), 10 - 13 year olds use all of the above stamps or you can also use bats that have the old approved USSSA mark. 15 year olds must use a BBCOR bat (Batted Ball Coefficient or Restitution).
