EVAA In-house Baseball Umpire Information

Welcome Umpires,

The mandatory umpire training and annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 from 3-5 PM. It will be held at the Apple Valley Community Center in the All Purpose Room. Umpires must be at least a current high school freshman to participate.

As in the past, this meeting is mandatory for all umpires unless waived by the Umpire Coordinator. If you are not on our list with our computer scheduling system, games will not be assigned to you. Thus, making it to the training and meeting is imperative.

Gopher State Umpire Training Clinics

It is strongly recommended that all umpires attend the Gopher State Umpire Clinic. The clinics are designed to allow umpires of all abilities an opportunity to enhance their skills and/or become educated in the finer points of umpiring. Click Umpire Clinics for more information.

EVAA Umpire Scheduling Program

Click Scheduling Program to access the EVAA In-house Baseball Umpire Scheduling Program

This is a link to the website of the new umpire scheduling system. Before the season, each umpire must get themselves registered in the system. The Umpire Coordinator will then have to activate new users and assign them to the age groups that they can umpire. Please get yourselves registered as soon as possible. More details will be presented at the mandatory umpires meeting (see above).

EVAA Umpire Payment Voucher

This voucher must be used to validate all games you work. The coach from both teams must sign it. You then turn them in to the Umpire Coordinator who will process them and get you paid. These can also be turned in at Westwood Sports. They will keep them in a folder, and the Umpire Coordinator will pick them up periodically.
