New for 2018

ATTENTION – PARENTS PLEASE READ – NEW FOR 2018

Eastview Youth Lacrosse is a traveling lacrosse program, therefore once ideal team sizes are reached for the projected number of teams, registrants will be placed on a wait list until there are enough registrations to fill an additional team, at which time, those on a wait list will be invited to register.  While there is no set number of players per team, there are ideal ranges.  Oftentimes we find ourselves in the position where just a few more players would permit us to field an additional team; however, without those players, we are left with a very large team.  As you can imagine, larger teams present challenges with playing time, practice time and, most importantly, player development.

Wait lists may occur well before registration closes so please REGISTER EARLY!  There may be other opportunities based on the number registered at each level (i.e., potential tryouts or evaluation for a higher age group).  However there are no guarantees so please register as soon as possible.  Please recognize that we are limited in the number of Coaches we have and the number of fields we are assigned by EVAA.  As a volunteer Board, we recognize and do our best to accommodate parents and grow the program, but we also need the cooperation and assistance of the parents to register early so that we can plan out the season.  We must adhere to deadlines set by the governing lacrosse leagues, which are well in advance of our internal deadlines for registration, so we have to rely on estimated team numbers when registering the Eastview Association for the respective seasons.  Accordingly, the earlier the players get registered, the easier it is for the Lacrosse Board to plan for the season.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

WANTED - USED LACROSSE EQUIPMENT

Please Consider Donating Your Used Lacrosse Equipment to EVAA

Eastview Youth Lacrosse is seeking used lacrosse equipment in order to provide equipment for new players wishing to try out lacrosse.  As you know, it can be expensive to outfit a new player, but with donations from members like you, we can make it easier for new players to get involved or simply "try it out" without incurring significant expense.  We are interested in helmets, sticks, gloves and pads.   If you have any equipment you are willing to donate, please email director@eastviewlacrosse.com and we will arrange to pick it up.  Thank you.
