This winter EVAA Softball is offering two excellent clinic opportunities, one for general softball skills and one for beginning pitchers. See below for details on both.
Winter Clinics at the Irish Dome
What: 1 hour fastpitch softball clinics sponsored by the Eastview High School Fastpitch Program
For Whom: Any fastpitch player currently in grades 3-9
By Whom: Members of the Eastview High School varsity and junior varsity teams and the Eastview coaching staff, plus coaches from the EVAA softball program
When: Friday nights starting Nov 16th. See complete schedule below for dates/times. (12 sessions) If you didn't start on Nov. 16 you are definitely still welcome to come join us, its never too late to participate in the clinics.
Cost: $75.00 (Payable to "EVHS Fastpitch" at the door)
Why: This is a terrific opportunity to get to know the high school coaches and players, experience the Irish Dome, as well as keep yourself in good "softball shape" for next spring. These Thursday evening clinics replace last year's Wednesday sessions.
What to Expect: Participants will get a chance to fine-tune some of their current skills and to develop some new ones. The focus will be on acquiring good softball habits, including the basic mechanics of a quality fastpitch swing, a quality throw, infield and outfield skills, baserunning, and even some pitching and catching for those interested.
Where: Irish Dome, located off of County Road 3 (Robert Trail) behind the Rosemount Community Center, and just north of Rosemount High School.
